Grace & Peace Lesson 1

This first lesson will be the foundation teaching. I am going to uncover 2 Peter 2, dig into the Greek Lemma in a way you will understand the entire process.

The Greek Lemma is sinply this. Greek and Hebrew are way different than English. Translating a Greek word into English can be extremely difficult. Take the English word for love in scripture. The Greek has 9 different words for you one word “love.”

Let me give you an example. Greek breaks down the entire process of a word. Greek words are from other Greek words to form a True meaning.

Take a cup of coffee. The lemma is, you have a cup of coffee, a coffee pot made the cup of coffee, the pot consists of multible parts. The motor that has multable parts, the filter, the water tank, the pump and so much more just to make a cup of coffee that you dring from a cup.

Many lexicons only go 2 to 3 back two foundational words, the cup and the coffee pot, but the core foundation of the word takes multible stages to produce a meaning of the words. I use every part of the word, balanced out with the entirety of scripture to give an accurate translation instead of interpeting the way someone thinks or believes.
